Slotcar Fever!

Not to be outdone by his sisters, Billy decided to lay out a complicated slot car track on the floor of the family room. First, Liz's enormous roller coaster had to be moved out of the way. We found a place for that behind the "fake sofa" where it still lies.

Anyway, Billy pulled out the box of track, noted the number of pieces still left and proceeded to snap them together into a racetrack configuration. In interviewing him for this article, Billy stated that he ALWAYS builds a racetrack when he comes to the Plantation. He also tries to build one that he has never built before; and the result is what you see here! Jimmy's slot car collection is always available to test the racetrack and Billy lets them run a lap or two.

Unfortunately, slot car fever doesn't last very long and Billy soon takes the track apart and puts it away. Time to do something else!

The biggest draw for Billy, as well as the girls, is the internet, where they have set up pages on sites like MySpace where they can talk to their friends. An elaborate web time schedule is being tried so that everyone gets a chance to use Bambah's computer. Even Bambah abides by the rules. It generally works and is much better than the old way of fighting over computer use! :)
