Camilla Johnson +November 19, 2006

Jimmy and I went to Aunt Camilla's funeral at Forest Lawn Cemetery on November 25th. Uncle Clyde had died last January so Camilla was the last of Nannie's generation at 92 years of age. She had been in pretty good health until this year and she died peacefully on November 19th.
Most of her many nieces and nephews were present to give her a solemn sendoff. On Nannie's side of the family, Jean and the girls, Cousin Jackie, Barbara and Henny, and Jimmy and I were there.
We have many fond memories of Camilla and her love of pink decor. Our visit to Clyde and Camilla's home in Yorktown many years ago was a pink delight! Also, their visits to our home with tales of their trips to Germany and letters from German friends that I often translated.
