The Big Move!

A couple of week's ago, Jimmy and I moved all my furniture and collectibles into Ann's old booths. She decided to move out of the flea market and when I heard about it, I wrote a request to move into her place. I wanted an open shop so I was glad when Ann took down her latticework and took up her rugs. I bought the pegboards on her walls and once she had moved out, I moved in. As part of my agreement, I gave up my 2 spaces next door. Ida and Ruth have taken over my old booths.

Jimmy set out my furniture and arranged the pieces for me. I bought 3 area rugs and then put all my pictures, glass, pottery and collectibles in place. I am very pleased with how my new shop has turned out. I had always been happy in my former enclosed shop; but now that I have all these open spaces, I see that it is easier for folks to come in and browse. I also have plenty of room in the middle of the floor to place furniture to sell. People simply walk around the furniture to see the glassware and pottery on the shelves.

My shop is also beautiful to look at. I have received many compliments from other vendors and my customers who love the bright and inviting look of my new shop. I love it too!
