Corpus Christi Altars in Windischeschenbach in the 1930's

Being numbered as one of the older families in Windischeschenbach, Oma's parents had the privilege of setting up one of the altars used during the annual Corpus Christi Procession.
This was the event where the priest carried the Blessed Sacrament around the town in procession with the townspeople, and held Benediction at different stopping places around the town where certain families had constructed and decorated elaborate altars for that purpose.
I have created a simple website that shows a couple of the 1930's altars. Here is the link:

In the picture on this page, you can see my 1st cousin, Annemarie Rupprecht as a young girl with a wreath of flowers in her hair. She is the tall girl in the middle. Annemarie married Heiner Gierisch, the veterinarian.
The boy in the white suit on the left is Rudi Punzmann who emigrated to the USA after WWII and the boy on the right in the black suit is another Punzmann boy from a different but related family, Edward.
